How to reach Granada

Granada is easily accessible, has a compact city downtown and most of the main sites can be reached walking. It can be reached in a variety of ways: by car, train, bus and air. Federico García Lorca Airport is very close to the city. Granada is also fast and easy to reach from Atocha railway station (Madrid) by high-speed train (AVE).

In the city you can go almost everywhere by City Bus (1.40 € regular ticket; www.alsa.es) or Trolley (1.35 € regular ticket; www.metropolitanogranada.es).

The way to get to or from the airport (15 km from the city) is by rental car, taxi or bus.
